Well I believe the answer is Manon Rheaume. I think one of your clues is wrong though. You say the first professional league she played in was the QMJHL. The QMJHL is not a professional league it is a junior league. The first professional league she played in was the IHL.

I am a Canadian born goaltender who played in the NHL and I am also an Olympic Silver Medalist.

My career in the NHL spanned over the years 1992-1993.

I also had a career in the ECHL with 3 different teams. My first professional hockey team was in the QMJHL.

Though my time was short in the NHL I set one record that had never been set before.

Hmm yes I guess the J in QMJHL should have made that obvious to me.

Thought it might be fun to see who can solve this Who Am I.
