No. Joe Malone played from 1917 - 1924. The Original Six era was from 1942 - 1967.

No. btw - Howell only scored 94 goals in his entire 20 year NHL career and never more than 12 in one season.

Bang! I knew that hint would do the trick. On Jan 5, 1963 at Montreal Forum in a 2 - 2 game between the Rangers and the Montreal Team Bathgate scored in his 10th straight game. It was a PPG scored at 16:02 of the 2nd period assisted by Ingarfield and Harvey. He also scored in the 3rd period of the game, they were his 19th and 20th goals of the season. His streak ended one night later when Montreal beat the Rangers at MSG.

No. He played on the same team as the other guy who's record Bathgate broke.
