QUOTE (Armistice @ Feb 9 2009, 10:39 PM)Not really hockey, but Micheal "Pinball" Clemons is pretty lame...
Acutally any sport would be cool. I remember when Pinball first came in the CFL, yea I'm that old, and they started calling him that cuz he was bouncing around all the bigger players like a pinball in a pinball machine.

QUOTE (joyzee guy @ Apr 2 2009, 01:55 PM)Haven't seen Modere Fernand "Mud" Bruneteau mentioned so far.
Sure he scored the goal in the longest OT ever, but I still don't want to know how he got that nickname.
Bruneteau.......basically "brown water" a la francais
Mats "Weed" Sundin.........I know why, does anyone else

QUOTE (sun1 @ May 1 2009, 07:52 PM)Someone thought calling Latendresse ' War Amps' was a good idea...they said it was because he had no hands.
I prefer Fatendresse, or Fatty or Fats for short

Josh Gorges - Throats (Gorges = French for Throats). Thanks to Google Translator

QUOTE (ModGod @ Feb 11 2009, 07:31 AM)yeah..I'm sure you'd love to walk around with people callin you Puppa Scoopa.
We seem to have had a few minor differences lately seventieslord...but they've been based on opinion, not fact.
Puppa Scoopa is the funniest nickname I've ever heard. I wouldn't call it bad.
