It's probably over 300 then.
First major sporting even was probably Jays v Rangers in 1989. Team included Gruber, McGriff, Cerutti, Henke, Borders, Moseby, Barfield, Bell, Lee, Fernandez. I'm amazed I can remember that, but I can't remember things day in and out at work.

QUOTE (summerstar1 @ Jun 4 2009, 01:11 PM)1 NASCAR race in Michigan, would have been two but the 2nd one got rained out until Tuesday and we unfortunately couldn't stay that long. But I've gone to watch qualifying at Michigan Speedway 3 times.
I'm not much the NASCAR fan, but I've heard a race weekend there is a pretty fun time all the way around for fans and non-fans. I remember the MIS race you were talking about, a couple guys I work with were peeved because they couldn't go when they finally got it in.

1 Pens game: @ Sens (Pens 1-0)
2 Jays games: vs Rays; vs Yanks (Jays and Doc 2-0, including a complete game shutout at my first ever Jays game). Probably going to the game Sunday as an early Father's Day present to my Dad.
1 Marlies game: vs baby Pens (Marlies 1-0)
1 Storm game: @ Generals (Storm 1-0)
Andddd if this counts, when I was a little kid far more obsessed with figure skating than I am now (I miss the Stojko days), I saw Stars on Ice- not a competition, but my first ever sport thingy to see live, so I count it.
So as far as actual competition, I've been to 10, which isn't bad, considering I loathed all sports but figure skating and the Olympics for about the first sixteen years of my life.

3 Leafs games at ACC
4 Leafs - Sens games at Scotiabank Place
1 Sens - Flames game at Scotiabank Place
2 Jays games
I go to a lot of OHL games as well when I can. Never seen the Leafs lose live in Toronto, never seen them win live in Ottawa.
And, just cause its an awesome fact, I was at the amazing Aki Berg's first game as a Leaf, lol.

Watched the Team Canada World Juniors selection camp in '04 which included some games. May not be an "Event" but it was awesome for me haha.

That's all

Might try to go to a Jays game and/or a CFL game in the Summer.
I'd also like to check out an AHL game next year when Milwaukee comes into Toronto or Hamilton.

It is a great time, I'm pretty disappointed we aren't going to get our there this year due to the whole passport rule now to cross the border.
Ya, my dad and I were pretty ticked.. $180+ down the drain.
