Been to about ten Blue jays games, 1 Oshawa Generals game, 1 day at Wimbledon, about 30 or 40 local hockey games including cup final(it's only the British league, but it's the highest I get a chance to see regularly). Wales v Italy in the six nations, Several Leicester Tigers rugby matches, various England football matches. I've been a Forest season ticket holder for seven years, and i've been going to odd games as well for about 10 years before that, so i'd say about 200 home matches, and several away a season. I've been to a few Notts county, Leicester, Norwich and Derby matches too. and Notts v Leicester in the 20/20.
It's probably over 300 then.
First major sporting even was probably Jays v Rangers in 1989. Team included Gruber, McGriff, Cerutti, Henke, Borders, Moseby, Barfield, Bell, Lee, Fernandez. I'm amazed I can remember that, but I can't remember things day in and out at work.

Yeah, I was in a tennis club. It was easy to get tickets.
It's a lot harder now. Ballot sad.gif

Where to start? I've been to many a baseball game, probably around 20 in Toronto with even a couple at the Ex. I went to around 18 Tigers games last year and the about the same the year before that, plus six so far this year so far, I'm easily over 50 lifetime there and some at Tiger Stadium too. I've seen a game at Wrigley, Miller Park, and the Cell also. Hoping to knock Fenway off this year. In terms of hockey, probably about 20 at the Joe, a handful at the Saddledome, and maybe eight Leaf games (the one I saw at MLG is still the best experience in Toronto, but Leaf games in Buffalo kill.) We also took in a World Cup pre-tournament game in Columbus a few years back. I've also seen both the Pistons and Raptors as well as a few NCAA games in East Lansing and Auburn Hills. I've been to my share of "NFL" games as well. I use quotation marks as they were at Ford Field, home of the Lions. Speaking of which, I got to scratch off attending the Final Four off my list this past year in Detroit, that was wicked all the way around. Now it's Super Bowl and SCF game. Super Bowl I doubt will ever happen, the chance/cost is too low/great and the SCF I'll have to take one in that doesn't include Toronto if I actually want to attend one! laugh.gif

1 NASCAR race in Michigan, would have been two but the 2nd one got rained out until Tuesday and we unfortunately couldn't stay that long. But I've gone to watch qualifying at Michigan Speedway 3 times.

I'm not much the NASCAR fan, but I've heard a race weekend there is a pretty fun time all the way around for fans and non-fans. I remember the MIS race you were talking about, a couple guys I work with were peeved because they couldn't go when they finally got it in.

Let's see...

4 NHL games (CAR @ BOS; Hurricanes are 3-1)
1 NFL game (NE @ BUF; Bills are 0-1)
About 30 AHL games (Various [usually HFD] @ SPR; the Wolf Pack usually win)

So like 35? I go to a lot of AHL games.

5 Leafs games: vs Devils; Bruins; Sabres; Thrashers; Oilers (Leafs 3-2)
1 Pens game: @ Sens (Pens 1-0)
2 Jays games: vs Rays; vs Yanks (Jays and Doc 2-0, including a complete game shutout at my first ever Jays game). Probably going to the game Sunday as an early Father's Day present to my Dad.
1 Marlies game: vs baby Pens (Marlies 1-0)
1 Storm game: @ Generals (Storm 1-0)

Andddd if this counts, when I was a little kid far more obsessed with figure skating than I am now (I miss the Stojko days), I saw Stars on Ice- not a competition, but my first ever sport thingy to see live, so I count it.

So as far as actual competition, I've been to 10, which isn't bad, considering I loathed all sports but figure skating and the Olympics for about the first sixteen years of my life. biggrin.gif

2 Leafs Games at Maple Leafs Gardens
3 Leafs games at ACC
4 Leafs - Sens games at Scotiabank Place
1 Sens - Flames game at Scotiabank Place
2 Jays games

I go to a lot of OHL games as well when I can. Never seen the Leafs lose live in Toronto, never seen them win live in Ottawa.

And, just cause its an awesome fact, I was at the amazing Aki Berg's first game as a Leaf, lol.

Countless Kitchener Rangers games, regular season and playoffs. Haven't been too many lately, but a couple years I went to most home games.

Watched the Team Canada World Juniors selection camp in '04 which included some games. May not be an "Event" but it was awesome for me haha.

1 NASCAR race in Michigan, would have been two but the 2nd one got rained out until Tuesday and we unfortunately couldn't stay that long. But I've gone to watch qualifying at Michigan Speedway 3 times.

That's all sad.gif

Might try to go to a Jays game and/or a CFL game in the Summer.
I'd also like to check out an AHL game next year when Milwaukee comes into Toronto or Hamilton.

It is a great time, I'm pretty disappointed we aren't going to get our there this year due to the whole passport rule now to cross the border.
Ya, my dad and I were pretty ticked.. $180+ down the drain.
