We lost 2 wingers so I would call Ashton for his size and Kadri who could fill in for Lupul.
All though Ashton has played some games with Tampa he should not be put on the first line.
Looks like 4th line, for Ashton (to start the game, at least). Updated line-up below...

(Lupul, Armstrong not expected to play, along with Pittsburgh captain Crosby)

Sidney Crosby is nearing his much-anticipated return to the lineup, though the face of the Pittsburgh Penguins isn't about to rush anything. So don't expect to see him in the lineup for Wednesday's contest against visiting Toronto.
Given how well Pittsburgh has been playing without him, Crosby can take all the time he needs.
The Penguins seek their seventh consecutive victory Wednesday (7 p.m. ET) versus a Leafs outfit that likely will be without injured forwards Joffrey Lupul and Colby Armstrong.
Crosby went through a full practice including contact drills Tuesday for the first time since again experiencing concussion-like symptoms after a loss to Boston on Dec. 5, though he was hesitant to speculate about when he'll return.
"I'm going to give myself days, for sure, of contact," Crosby said. "If you look at our schedule, we have two more practices, I think, this week. No sooner than Sunday [versus Boston] I would say, but I'm not going to sit here and put a date on it. It would be total guesswork."
Marc-Andre Fleury and Evgeni Malkin are making sure the Penguins (39-21-5) succeed in the meantime.
Fleury made 36 saves and Malkin's assist extended his point streak to eight games as Pittsburgh beat Phoenix 2-1 on Monday.
The Penguins are 18-4-1 since Jan. 13, with Malkin scoring 21 goals and adding 15 assists during that stretch. Fleury has gone 16-2-1 with a 2.31 goals-against average in that span, including a 1.18 GAA while starting five games during the current winning streak.
"He has been real solid in there," coach Dan Bylsma said of Fleury. "The consistency with which he's played has probably been the biggest thing for us."
Fleury, Malkin shone
Fleury made 35 saves and Malkin scored a late equalizer and added the shootout winner in a 5-4 victory over Toronto on Jan. 31, marking the Penguins' only win over the Maple Leafs in three tries this season.
The next day, Malkin was held without a point for only the second time in 19 career games against the Leafs when Toronto beat Brent Johnson 1-0 in the most recent meeting.
The Maple Leafs also beat Johnson 4-3 on Oct. 29, though they probably won't face him again Wednesday as the backup goalie continues to deal with an injury.
Fleury is 5-1-1 in his last seven starts versus Toronto, but he has a 3.19 GAA in that span.
The Maple Leafs (30-29-7) are used to scoring some goals but still losing, having dropped 11 of 13 after falling 5-4 to Boston on Tuesday. They won their first game under new coach Randy Carlyle 3-1 at Montreal on Saturday, but couldn't carry over the momentum, allowing at least four goals for the ninth time in 12 games.
Making matters worse, Lupul — second on the team with 67 points — didn't return after suffering a suspected arm or shoulder injury in the second period after absorbing a check by David Krejci.
The oft-injured Armstrong got his nose bent in the second during a fight with Bruins defenceman Dennis Seidenberg.
Phil Kessel and John-Michael Liles each had a goal and an assist Tuesday, and Mikhail Grabovski, who signed a five-year, $27.5 million contract extension earlier in the day, added a goal.
Toronto has slipped to 12th place in the Eastern Conference, five points behind Winnipeg for the final playoff berth.
"We had lots of positives in the hockey game," Carlyle said. "Any time you score four goals you should feel good about your offensive side of it. But defence wins at this time of year."
Grabovski has five goals and six assists during a seven-game point streak versus the Penguins, including two goals and an assist in January's loss.
Malkin, though, has nine goals and 29 assists — 2.0 points per game — lifetime versus Toronto.

I will assume SEER's got the right numbers....(was interesting to look at)..and from those, it looks like Ashton might be worth watching....I would also liek to see more Colborne too...anybody know anything about Lupul's injury????
Just off the press 10 minutes ago... (full article above, Roux...)

And unless I made a typo, I keep the MARLIES stats up to date at least twice week.. You can check the MARLIES site, if you want to confirm anything here..
Sources say, that Army could have a concussion problem again, too.. but nothing has been confirmed about this.

LOL! I was pretty impressed with Conn & Army, last night.. Army really shouldn't have done that, though.., with his recent concussion... Looks like he made the matter worse, again..?
Even Lombo was crashing players last night, so I am concerned about him, too... Gotta love the passion these guys have brought, since Carlyle came in..! Even though it was a loss for us against the "B's", I thought we had a chance to win, right up until the final whistle..
"Motivation".. has finally arrived, with our new Coach..!
KUDOS TO CARLYLE...!!

Looks like he made the matter worse, again..?I bet he retires after this season... Just too many injuries in the last few years.. and he is being urged to go into broadcasting..., from what I am hearing.. I will miss his spunk, if he does...

Army really didn't have much of a choice, he was chirping and McQuaid took a run at him. His choices were fight McQuaid or fight Seidenberg, he made the right call.
Good News for us, if true.
Jonas Siegel
Brad Thiessen starting for Pens.
Rookie goalie, one game of NHL experience (he beat the Jackets and allowed 2 goals); this just became a winnable game. Give it all you got boys.

Is that true? They almost never start Fleury against us? I feel a little insulted, I hope the boys do too. I hope Kessel lights up Thiessen, and forces Fleury onto the ice!

If we can't win, I want respect! Although I'd rather have both.
4 goals in the first period and Flower in for the 2nd.

excited to see ashton in a leafs uniform
GO LEAFS GO
I'm happy for him, but also a little concerned about it... I still would have made use of Gards history as a Wnger... and played him on 3rd line (see my own suggested line-up, on the first page).. and brought up Colborne, Hamilton or Ziggy, for this one...
Marlies game is on right now, Guys... (LINK in previous post with Marlies Stats).
Tied... 0-0... so far.. (1st Period)

3 to 2 leafs win
Not good enough ken! I want a blowout tonight!
4 goals against Thiessen, 3 more against the cold Fleury
7-2 Leafs Win, Kessel Hat trick, Frattin, Grabovski, Kuli and Phaneuf with the others! Neal and Kunitz with the Pens goals.
For anyone who's going to tell me I'm crazy, I'm fully aware of how ridiculous I sound. I just really feel we could use a ridiculous win over the Pens.
Edit: Unless they really do win 7-2, in which case I'm a genius and I called it first!
