"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."

It's nice for them to represent.
But it would've been better if these 2 were in post season with the Leafs instead.
Games like this is not going to help say Schenn, Schenn needs to work on other aspects of his game this holidays.
Boston vs. Toronto playoff series.
Phil Kessel - 4 goals
Tyler Seguin - 0 goals

Who cares, how many times have these 2 played in these tournaments.
It's nice for them to represent.

Or it can be a huge confidence booster, which follows him into next season. There is nothing like a player feeling confident, and playing better because of it.

Playing in a respected tournament on a world stage with and against some of the best players in the world won't help?Who cares, how many times have these 2 played in these tournaments.

Interesting take. I guess getting swept in the first round would have done much much more for their confidence and development.
Can't say I agree with this take. Sounds more like lingering bitterness because of the regular season collapse.

On the other hand it is a great oppourtunity for them to play against top players around the world and hopefully get a confidence boost or at least learn some new tricks they did not know to do or experiment withe old way they uses to be = Awesome.
So it can also be like training for them and do some good, it can go sour as well, but thinking like that will make you go sour, so lets hope for the best.
