Nikolia Kulimen adds a gold medal to his trophy case after the Russian team wins gold at the 2012 world championships . At least one bright spot for the Leafs Kulimen added a goal and 4 assists to the winning effort .

Congrates Kuli great work and a much deserved reward .

Kulli is a goog guy, I really think playing in these tournaments can give you a boost heading into next season. Schenn looked as horrible as ever, he just does not seem to have any heart or desire any more, if we can trade him I sure would not be missing him any.

Good job Kullimen, you deserve it man.

I believe Kulemin will return to the 30 goal mark next season. I just hope it's with us.

Good Job Kuli!

Now bring that winning attitude back to TO in the fall!
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."

15-20 goals would be nice, the rest just needs to come for setting up plays and making space with the other guys.

i dont think he will return to the 30 goal mark, i just cant see it. But 25 goals is not an unfair goal. I think theres a chance he will be a shutdown guy for us next year though as Carlyle could turn him into a beast of a checking line player.

No Canadian defencemen looked good in the last game they played. Playing on a larger ice surface is murder on slow players. There is no place for "stay at home" defencemen. Kulemin is a "good guy" no doubt, and his effort on the ice is tireless. That said, you know that effort is not what makes a goal scorer. It's instincts and the knowledge to go where the puck isn't. I agree with Kadrix43 that he is destined for a checkers role and why not? He can probably be one of the games best shutdown players and maybe a PK specialist but I think 15-18 goals will be a lot for him. As for Schenn, don't be surprised if he is top four defence under Carlyle's watch.
