With Anders Lindback being aquired by Tampa Bay where does this leave the Leafs with possible goaltender free agents / trade targets.

According to TSN Roberto Luongo was looking to be traded to either Tampa Bay, Chicago, and Toronto. I personally do not see him going to Chicago and now that Tampa has Lindback does this take them out of the running?

I have a bad feeling that the leafs will get him........ for more than he's worth. I just hope he does it without getting rid of an impact player. I could see a package deal happening.

Really makes the likelihood they're targeting Luongo that much more plausible...either him or Harding are the only ones that really come to mind now unless they're thinking outside the box and going for Crawford if Chicago goes for Lu...

Probably will be Luongo as the field is thining out. But there are reports the Leafs are still looking at Nash can't see where the Leafs could do both moves.

Former Canucks GM Dave Nonis is now the right hand man of Leafs GM Brian Burke. It was Nonis who acquired Luongo from the Florida Panthers in 2006. And Leafs goalie coach Francois Allaire has a long history with Luongo and continues to work with him in the off-season.

Rick Nash still a target????

The report adds that the New York Rangers, San Jose Sharks, Philadelphia Flyers, Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes are among the teams that have expressed interest.

Looks like Tampa is out of the running for Lu.

Oh well at least if we're going for him the field is norrowing and Burke will be negotiating from a more powerful position.
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."

I'm not gonna lie, I would have been very tempted to try and match that too...
