Hey, just wondering who you guys think are the Leafs top 10 prospects (based on potential, how you like them, etc.) Kadri counts because he hasn't played a full season, but Gardiner doesn't.

I'll go first!

1. Morgan Rielly - D
2. Nazem Kadri - C/LW
3. Jesse Blacker - D
4. Matt Frattin - RW
5. Tyler Biggs - RW/LW
6. Matt Finn - D
7. Stuart Percy - D
8. Carter Ashton - RW
9. Ben Scrivens - G
10. Joe Colborne - C

Still lots of good guys like McKegg, Sparks, Ross, Holzer, etc.

Pretty excited about our prospects.

1) Kadri
2) Colborne
3) McKegg
4) Fraser

They are the only ones who have impressed me so far.

I liked Lashoff a lot; but I think Burke let him go; too bad.

4) Kadri
5) Biggs
6) Colburne
7) Holzer
8) Finn

i'm pretty sure fraser is quite older and has around 100 NHL games with the devils so he's more of just a 6/7 defenceman possibility for the leafs since he couldn't find a regular job anywhere else either. same with lashoff.

rielly
frattin
kadri
colborne
biggs
ashton
finn
percy

most of these guys actually have some size i.e ashton, biggs, colborne, rielly is 6'2, frattin's a tough guy. seems as if BB's plan for size is slowly living up with the young guys.

Reilly, finn, mckegg, are our three top prospects. Blacker, frattin kadri and gardiner are too mature to call prospects. Percy is an unknown factor for me just yet. Colborne and biggs I would trade in a heartbeat as I think neither will ever be impact players in the NHL. The rest at the prospects camp should just continue to get better. The cupboards are fuller but we have a long way to go. I would prefer for the team to get rid of bad contracts, finish last and dump some assets for more first round picks in next years draft. Why? can you say Nate McKinnon? We arent winning anything this year so GO FOR LAST

I think biggs will be an ideal 3rd liner. If he does evolve into a 2nd liner, he would be a fan favourite easily.

Rielly is definitely our best prospect.

1. Reilly
2. Kadri
3. Blacker
4. Percy
5. Colborne
6. Biggs
7. Ashton
8. Finn

Really surprised some of you rank Colborne so high. Really not impressed with what I seen so far. No doubt he does have great hands for a big fellow, but most games where I watched the Marlies, he hasn't really stuck out at all. Not attacking anybody here, just wondering if you could provide some reason why he is ranked so high.

Top 3 for me;
Kadri
Frattin
Mckegg

63 man games lost this season for the Leafs top 3 centers.....

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt... I do agree though he hasn't really impressed me that much

well, he fought half the year with a broken wrist i believe, or some sort of wrist innjury... sort of explains why his production dropped so much

I attended a few playoff games this year and waatched as many as possible on TV. Colborne was pretty much invisible to me. He had very little impact most games and he is in his third year of development. He is way behind to me. I think Kadri should be getting top line centre billing but noone agrees with me. Whatever

I wonder if many of you have seen a Marlies game. Holzer for some reason isn't high on peoples list. Why? I wonder and I can honestly say Burke himself has told the world Holzer will be making the jump this coming season. Can't really (myself) put Frattin on this list since he just signed a one way contract with the Leafs.

1. Kadri (Burke stated he was getting a shot and I believe he is ready)

2. Colbourne (everyone is praying he can make the jump this season)

3. D'Amigo (pure 3rd line checking role)

4. Scrivens (maybe must valuable in Luongo trade)

5. Percy (I could actually see him making it difficult for leafs brass this coming camp)

6. Blacker (Maybe be a captain for the Marlies)

7. Biggs (will start with the Marlies)

8. Reilly (at least one more year in junior but is intriguing)

9. Mckegg (will start with Marlies)

10. Finn (juniors will be first call up for Marlies and may stay after that)

Now Holzer isn't on my list because in my mind he is a Leaf without question therefore not a prospect but a player.

The question isn't what prospects we have but where they fit in. I believe when Burke stated he wasn't done yet, he will be selling more than receiving.

Or what contracts are going to be buried at season start. If Lombardi isn't traded I can see him playing for the big club. Mind you that is in his hands this off season to really get back into shape. The Lombardi of old really interests me but the one we saw last year isn't a pro hockey player anymore. Now either Kulemin or MacArthur are of interest by other teams and I believe one or maybe both are Trade worth considering the depth in prospects that could use 3rd line splash time to boost they're development.

Something has happen in respects to attitude towards this team. We didn't need the filler player anymore as was our only option in the last 3 years. These prospect and a variety of trades has put us into contention with the only real (boat sinking) hole being our net which again is another tricky situation. Scrivens I think could get it done if Reimer doesn't regain his form. Remember even M.A Fleury in Pits. had a rough go in his second season and then 2 trips to the cup finals one win. So let’s hope and pray this is the case, it is doubt full we get a class act minded that won't hurt us in the end...other then maybe Thomas if possible.

To me Colburne didnt seem extra special . But looked fine playing with the leafs at the begginng of the season(can handle the NHL) but with the wrist injury hes got to be bumped up I think.
