Anyways IF there is a lock out the best thing we can all do is boycott any NHL product!!! especially NHL13 and NHL Jerseys.
Lets show these heartless monsters that they can't get away with screwing us over any more. If they have problems they have to find a way to deal without taking it out on us their FANS!

So in conclusion, I'm on board, but good luck getting everyone else to tow that line.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."

You all need to wake up because it’s not them who are suffering with a Lockout or a Strike it’s the fans! They really don`t care... players will still be paid the teams that are well off, will survive and the ones that are failing well that is the whole issues now isn`t. If they go to a lockout teams that are wealthy will have to fix this problem by throwing cash at it and how long do you think that will happen if we stand on a line and say no more! Doesn’t mean we stop being fans it just means we stop buying products till this is resolved. That isn’t too much to ask is it?... or do you like to be made a fool of?
More than just soups!

Looks like Bettman and Co (IMO) are really wanting to stroke the NBC, looks like the NBC might be tickled pink if the NHL resumed on Friday Nov 23rd the day after the American Thanksgiving.... looks to me like a planned ploy on NBC's part to grab sports ratings following a day of Football....
Again I could be punchy.. but could Bettman be planning to coordinate a stoppage until viable to have the start up be this date????? I know the NBC is coughing up 200Bil for television rights....
Ok off to another site at crab at ppl for not wearing fall harness's properly....

I hope you are right and hockey does resume at some point (better late than never) but I'm preparing unfortunately for life without the nhl this year myself.

The article seems to be insinuating that is merely when the most pressure would be applied to get something done ( if there still is a lockout at that point). NBC still needs programming for Versus, and wouldn't like to be paying that licensing fee for less content, I would assume.

Actually there was a dragon's den episode where these guys created this brand new cereal and they called it something like "really good ****." The funny thing is everyone that sampled it said wow this is really good **** here! Not only did they do well on the show, apparently the guys that did that sell this cereal for real and have made a good living off of it, so hey there ya go! The maple leafs cereal is not a bad idea after all. Maybe we can throw in marshmallow hockey pucks, and a free hockey card of a random player in specially marked boxes lol.
LOL!
I remember that, I think there was actually a flavour called "Holy ****" and they were all like "Holy **** that **** is really good!"
I'm sure Maple Leafs cereal would do really well.

All we do is stand by our team, pay insane amounts of money to see them play, Keep this organization rich out of their minds and we are getting screwed over by the failed American organizations.
The lockout is a product of Gary Bettman putting teams in the deserts of America and expecting them to succeed. If Bettman put all of those struggling teams north of the border we wouldn't be having this issue.
We have to suffer because Americans don't care about hockey, They rather shoot rats out in a field so why are we forced to wait around because Bettman has the common sense of a piece of toast.
The problem isn't player salary it's because the league is sick of paying for their own mistakes from putting teams in places that are full of people who have never seen snow in their lives.
How about we give all those teams that are losing money a year off to figure out their shat and let the teams with actual fan bases play hockey.

That's a pretty close minded statement. As long as there is an American running the league he will try to push the game to his country and to areas that have no interest in Hockey. Its not right but thats the way it is.
Whoever is running the league, American or Canadian, will push the game of hockey where it will make the most money.
Hence moving Atlanta to Winnipeg, and talk of New York/Phoenix moving to Quebec.
It also depends on the owner who tries to buy a club and where he's from.
