Oh sorry I know what you mean
I miss getting home from work knowing that a game is just about to start and it is already on my TV. my wife is cooking dinner and my sons are waiting by the TV to give me any pre-game updates; Everything a man could want his home, family, team and sharing it with the next generation of Leafs Fan.

Sigh. I miss hockey.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."

Hockey in general.......less and less every day. But I sure do miss the game day snacks and recipies in here
Weird it's like that for me too. It's been so long since i watched a game the fan in me is dying. Almost like i'm in some kind of hockey rehab and it's been slowly leaving my system
Not good news.

(My bad..., that was an answer for a different subject...)
Seriously, though.... What do I miss..?
I miss the GAMES...
The excitement...
The interesting "current" subjects & discussion about players... and games..
All of our other regulars who really haven't posted much, since the end of last season...
Beergirl talking about Mike Brown...
2K4... & ..Crush.. getting me going with posting more game day recipes...
G.O.A.T. with his fabulous stat. charts...
The fun and laughter of the TMLEFT thread.. (as few post there any more)...
...and most of all...
..Watching my favorite team in the world again...!
(Oh..! ....and I almost forgot one last point... "Ice Girls"...
SPEED IS YOUR FRIEND, MAPLE LEAFS..! USE IT IN EVERY GAME..!!

I feel your painNow that the Grey Cup is done, I've gotten to the point where I don't even turn on one of the sports channels in the mornings. There's nothing on but American football and the only team game more boring, basketball. For excitement, there's updates on how badly the hockey talks are going nowhere, and if I see Buttman's smirky face again, I'm likely to throw something at the TV.

Don't do it, Jam!
What is a TV worth these days?
I'll bet, more than Buttman.

You didn't see his salary! (or that's one nice TV)
I'll bet, more than Buttman.
Anywho...something to watch. the AHL is good, but having it only at the end of the week most of the time leaves Mon-Thurs pretty dry (especially with the Raptors in building mode).
