Im hoping for some draft eligibles to make it, Drouin is a dream but Mackinnon and Monahan have a shot. Also i think Percy would have been a good guy for a bottom pairing but hes not invited... Rielly should Qb the umbrella PP with Murphy and Nuge on his wings. That should be a fun power play to watch. Not only are Huberdeau and Schieffle and Strome near superstar status in this tournament but Nugent Hopkins could be the best talent to ever play in this tournament, watch the amount of points Nugent Hopkins puts up. Along with Murphy Rielly and Hamilton should tear up this tournament in terms of skill. The bottom 6 looks to be phenominal as well with guys like Jenner, Mcneil, Wilson Rattie who is a hell of a player where ever he plays. Plus Mackinnon should be able to light the tournament up if he makes it. This is going to be the best team in years... I cant see this team losing...
The last time the team was so deep Crosby was the only draft eligible player to make it.
I'd expect MacKinnon to be on the team, maybe Monahan, but he's a bit of a longer shot, especially since the top 6 is gonna be filled with NHL ready guns (RNH, Huberdeau, Scheifele, Strome etc.)

Team Red wins 3-1
Goals by Danault, Corrado, and Nugent-Hopkins (EN) for Team Red; Hunter Shinkuruk scored for Team White.
MacKinnon was reported to look real good, but couldn't finish.

Dumba got smashed there. Good hit by Ritchie
Yeah, Ritchie's making a case for himself. He'll make the team no doubt.
I'll look forward to seeing him plaster some Americans and Russians.

The only real surprising cuts were Wilson, Macneill and Corrado.
Other than that not a bad looking bunch.
I can't believe they cut Corrado, he was going at a goal a game in the scrimmages, and he's a friggin D-man.

Nugent-Hopkins is given the C for the World Jr's.
Defenseman Scott Harrington (London Knights, Pittsburgh Penguins) and Forward John Huberdeau (Saint John Sea Dogs, Florida Panthers) take the A's.

It makes sense in that Wotherspoon and Reinhart are probably better defensive minded guys, but I would have kept him over Murphy at least if seeing as they already have a pretty well offensive minded top 4...
