so congrats leaf ownership for officially making sure that myself and everyone i know will never care about the leafs again. I have been a leaf fan my entire life, and have been excited throughout this entire rebuilding process because i can see a direction. This year we waited months for this season to start, was super excited to just see some hockey again and what do we get??? blackouts! one after another so we can not watch the games. im sorry but you take too much money from us as it is, through prices of merchandise and tickets to a game. To not allow us to watch it on a regular channel is strait up robbery. We are all looking for a new team to cheer for in hopes that we can find a teams management that gives a little bit of consideration for their fans, and that is clearly not gonna be found when cheering for the leafs! so long maple leafs, its been difficult to continue to be a fan throughout all these years, but they have finally pushed me over the edge, and am looking forward to watching whatever my new team is to beat the leafs over and over.

I agree brdmn88 i would also like to show my dissapointment and disengagmenet with the maple leaf organization. If MLSE wants to look at the organization as strictly a business. Then i will look at MLSE as I am a consumer. Firstly as a consumer when i buy a product or pay for a service i look for certain things as im sure many people do.

1- quality product
The Maple leafs have not made the playoffs in almost 10 years and have not won a stanley cup in 45 years. Never mind the Raptors and TFC Definately not quality.
2- price point
The maple leafs have one of the highest ticket prices and concession prices in the league. not to mention the additional cost that would occur if you are one of thoes who actually subscribe for leafs tv. Not a good price point
3- respect for the consumer
With Leafs TV it just shows how greedy the organization is knowing what hockey means to canadians and how much they are willing to pay to watch Canadas game. Between Leafs TV high ticket prices and the lock out it shows the lack of respect for the fans that actually pay their income and gouge them for every last penney they can.

now just think of these 3 things. If you were to eat at a resturant, higher a contractor or buy a new car would you give your hard earned money to a company, person, or organization that does not have these 3 qualities. So what should i invest any of my hard earned money in MLSE.

I along with brdmn and many other people would like to make MLSE aware that they are losing fans hand over fist and am tired of poor mismanagement and lack of respect. I hope markham gets a team so you have to actually earn your money and regain long lost fans that once cheered for you

Truly another lost leaf fan

I'm still a fan, but I agree with the blackouts. There is no excuse for that crap. 90+ % of the time I find ways to watch the game on the internet though.. so in your face blackouters!

Er Don't you guys have radio's? I'm sorry but to get that bent out of shape because a game is not on t.v.? Don't mean to be rude but the author of this piece just does not sound like a real true blue die hard fan in the first place!

Im sorry, but its industry standard. Blackouts are part of the business. Heck, I remember moncton wildcats games being blacked out. Tell me a team that has all games aired nationaly????? People who arent leafs fans complain constantly that there are too many Leafs games aired nationaly.

All Leafs games are broadcasted within the area, no blackouts. If you live out west or somewhere close to Ottawa or something, which you didn't specify where you live, of course you won't get every Leaf game. Blackouts only happen if its not a sellout arena/stadium and the Leafs are always a sellout.
